This guy got the ENRON genesis TOTALLY WRONG. Ken Lay was NOT the first CEO of ENRON but the THIRD. He did NOT merge the pipelines company together. OTHERS bought HIS company and did the merger. Lay ONLY seized power by deception and deceit and then changed the name to make it SOUND like a new company. The TRUTH is that Lay never added ANYTHING beneficial to Enron and the "stodgy" pipeline companies that this guy discounts actually paid for ALL of Lay's failures. It

The head of the Justice Department during the Enron scandal was Attorney General Alberto Gonzales who was subsequently disgraced and ran out of office. Alberto Gonzales worked for Vinson and Elkins law firm in Houston and was an ENRON lawyer. Also Ken Lay recommended Gonzales to then Texas Gov. BUSH for appointment to the Texas Supreme Court.
