I make $46,000, no grant here.. Cannot afford to pay out of pocket. No rich relative.. I'm done with the easy loan scam as of today. I'm going to suck up, and get to paying back as much as possible. I had one buddy join the army to get out of it. It's either be absolute poor, or be very rich in this country. I'm probably worse off than welfare recipients. At least they get guaranteed food stamps. Time to search for Native American heritage or breed irresponsibility.

How does a nation in debt benefit society?! Why has the cost of tuition risen 400% that of inflation since 1985? Guaranteed Government student loans. Not only is unlimited funding available which rises tuition costs due to unlimited demand, there is a surplus of BS/BA degrees which has watered down their marketability. Add to this that higher education is now considered a poor indicator of performance in the real world of the market economy. What benefit is there?

Hell my grant was only $1650 I didn't even get the full grant. If you got $600 then your doing a hell of allot better then me. That's my point . You don't really know what poor is.

My car stalled out on me yesterday because i didn't have any money for gas. I have a unpaid ticket from some asshole cop who didn't care I was unemployed at the time. next cops is going to arrest me for unpaid ticket. At least you have a associates degree and are able to find a job with that degree. I'm still a year from my associates degree. and am suffering badly making $700 a month. You don't get it buddy u got to be on deaths door about to be homeless before u get full grant.

both my parents never attended college and i'm 29 lost my job have a child and have been only been able to find a part time job. Worst yet this job I have at home depot pays shit $10 an hour and they are only giving me 17-19 hours a week depending on the week. So here I am making $700 a month with a family to feed not being able to find other work im on food stamps now and I have $38,000 in credit card debt so I have collectors on my ass and im getting sued. You think u know what poor is ??????

i dont know what poor is? are you fucking kidding me? both of my parents never attended college and are working lower class jobs. which in return gives me no room for financial help. and transferring to a world-known institution which will end up costing me around 90,000 for a bachelors degree. and im attending this school because I have had a lifelong dream of attending it, and since its a very hard school to get into, I took advantage of it.
