Now I'm sure my mom is going through menopause! She has been extremely naggy and grumpy lately, and the memory thing is happening too. And it sucks cause I'm starting to lose my patience with it. I just want to yell!! But I'll do my best to be patient. It's only a phase...

LOL - Nice! Love the cake.I believe I'm starting "The Change" - I'm 47with no kids - sweats, chills, moody, some headaches, but not a raging bitch, and especially somewhat fatigued.Oh, yeah, and the monthy thing - hopefully gone for good. Sayonara.

LOL Wish I'd had this vid years ago when my mother was going through it. However she was loony before and became alcoholic during, so sorting out all three issues was beyond my little junior high brain. Remember kids: if trips to the liquor store suddenly become routine, Mom is self-medicating the menopause and has a whole new problem.

As a woman experiencing "the change", I thank you for posting this! You're pretty accurate! One thing I would add is that as much as it's hard for the family members, it's even harder on the individual going through menopause. The hot flashes themselves are exhausting, you lose the ability to focus on everyday things, and EVERYTHING pisses you off!
