What happened with the whole commercialisation of the industry is an example of people not knowing when to stop. When all the Spike Lee films and Kids was coming out you started to get a much less political and more light hearted sound which at the time was fine but it kept on going and the origins were forgotton (although not altogether like we've said) this is a shame because we're lucky enough to have some knowledge younger generations claiming to love hip hop think Lil Wayne is it.

we do not even like the fact that all these Hipsters and solja boys make dances sell a mill and its called real music. corporation give kids what they want and i emphasis kids not the ppl because growing up HIP HOP was a movement and now its something to move too. i wish HIP HOP was like Grime. recognize by a few but known by many its not yet to have world identity so can not be corrupted. and that makes it pure.yeah Americans do care for more than ass tits but any man will tell you they do.
